The Everyday Yogi

Yoga Lifestyle.
Daily Mindfulness.

Helping to get you on your mat, day after day.

This programme is tailored to help get you on your mat, day after day. It’s not a teacher training, or yoga retreat to deepen your yogic knowledge or understanding. It’s about helping you tailor your yoga practice to your everyday life. We work in conjunction with your yoga teacher, online or in person, to get you practicing everyday. Leading to a natural, and real, deepening of your yoga.

If you are starting out, I will give you the keys to learn how to practice yoga everyday from the get go, so that you are reading to learn with a teacher.

The programme is online, so that you get used to practicing in your home, in real-life conditions.

With my programme, you will see real improvement fast.

Yoga for real lives

Let’s be honest. Life is busy, messy and full on. That’s where I come in. The Everyday Yogi programme is here to teach you the tools to alter your practice depending on the day. Yoga isn’t a one size fits all practice. We focus on the tips and tricks that will get you on you mat, not just once a week, but with consistancy.

Every. Single. Day.

21 Days / 90 Days

It takes 21 days to create a habit, and 3 months to create a lifestyle.

That’s why my programme is 3 months long. We’re in it for the long haul to see some real change. It’s all about setting up a sustainable practice that you can maintain even when life throws you a curve ball.

We’re going to make practicing yoga as easy as brushing your teeth.

Yoga for you

We all have different bodies, different ages, different lives.

That’s why learning how to practice on your own, in your own home is so important.

Yoga is an experimental science. How does it feel for you?

The Everyday Yogi programme will give you the tools to understand what to practice and when. Because, in all honesty, we’re not super heros.

Méditation

Meditation is at the heart of yoga. A simple practice of at least 5 minutes a day makes huge improvements.

I am here to support you in starting or maintaining consistancy in your meditation practice.

It’s not a hard science but if you’re feeling unsure (haven’t we all felt that at one point?!), I’m here to help.

LEARN AT HOME

Committing to a daily yoga practice can be challenging, especially when practicing from home. My online program is designed to help you overcome this challenge by providing tailored support to get you on your mat every day. The program focuses on integrating your yoga practice when life gets busy.

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced yogi, my online program provides you with the tools you need to practice daily. You’ll see real improvement quickly and enjoy the convenience of practicing from the comfort of your home. With my online program, you can develop a consistent yoga practice, improve your flexibility, strength, and mental well-being, and achieve your personal health and wellness goals.

I provide live online classes so that you are supported as your are learning. No pre-recorded classes. This is real learning where you get to ask questions and get to know your fellow students.

“Finally, A Yoga Programme focused on practicing yoga at home, in real life conditions.”

Have you been to a yoga retreat or done a 30 day challenge? They’re pretty good hey? Yep, they are.

You finish on a high, keep your practice up for a week, then life hits. Getting on your mat turns back into a once every so often.

Don’t worry, it happens to everyone.

Getting on your mat everyday can be really easy if you know how to do it.

Want to learn the best ways to get on your mat day after day?

I’ll teach you the tips and tricks that I had to learn by experimenting, injury, and failing. Multiple times.

But why go through all that hassle when you can just learn from me?

Nourish your body.

Nourish your soul.

Ok, we all try to eat well. Get 8 hours of sleep. Limit social media.

But in reality it’s so much harder than that.

This programme doesn’t focus on numbers and stats. We’re looking holistically at what goes in – food, media and tech – and how to make small but significant changes that bring us more balance, peace and joy.

It’s all about learning to live in the present and feeling good. Learning to enjoy yourself and finding what makes your soul sing.

You are worthy.

About Jess

Hi, it’s so lovely to see you here!

My name is Jess, and I am a yoga, movement and lifestyle coach.

I am so happy to be bringing you these life changing programmes! Because I know from experience how chaotic life can get. These programmes come from my personal experience as a yoga teacher and my own journey of integrating yoga and movement into my everyday life. It has been an amazing transformation that has brought about more balance, positivity and energy.

I wish I had this programme when I first started out – I would have gained a more balanced lifestyle much quicker! Especiall as a mother of 2 kids!

I originally started practicing yoga in 2013 at home with a YouTube video. I was too scared to go into a class. But overtime, I gained more confidence to go to a class. At this time I was practicing once or twice a week. Later I studied intensively with Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldmann, renowned teachers of Ashtanga yoga. Practicing intensively transformed my life. I also studied with Lalit Kumar of Himalayan Yoga Valley who gave me knowledge from the lineage of Swami Rama, especially giving me the tools for meditation.

After practicing nearly every day for a year, I was back in my home, practicing by myself. And that’s where life poked it’s nosy head in. It took me an entire year to work out how to practice yoga everyday and consistently. I now have integrated walking daily into my routine too. And who knows, maybe there will be a half marathon in the future?

I haven’t missed a day (well actually I do – find out the how’s and why’s in my programme) and my life is balanced, full of mindfulness and gratitude.

Now, it’s time for me to share with you my hard earned knowledge.

I can’t wait to meet you!

Testimonials

I loved practicing with our group and the freedom we get to choose how we are going to practice. It’s helped me so much in finding a practice that I can do even when life gets busy.
Hassna

As a beginner, I was so nervous about starting out. But Jess was really patient and showed me how, with a little knowledge, I could practice by myself. I’m definitely going to find a yoga master now that Jess has helped me to practice everyday – I never miss it!
Leslie

Jess is so sweet and she has been so available for us when we’ve needed her. She is very encouraging and is so patient! It’s really helped my confidence.
Laura

I like Jess’s availability, her great physical abilities, her gentleness, and the fact that she adapts to everyone. I am very happy to be in this yoga group where I can learn the practice and I’ve made some really good friends.
Sophie

What style of yoga is this programme?
The Everyday Yogi is open to all styles of yoga as we are focusing on daily practice. You will also have the option to choose a style to practice from the beginning.
Do I have to be patient to practice yoga?
No! Yoga teaches us so many things along the path and one of them might just be patience – but you don’t have to start out with the will of a monk.
Can I practice yoga if I am Christian?
Yes! Yoga at it’s heart, as written by Patanjali long ago, is non-denominational. The physical positions (asana) are movements we use to make the body more comfortable to practice meditation – which you can use as a time to pray.
I've been practicing yoga for years, can I still participate?
Yes! I welcome all levels of yoga to join. Going from doing yoga once or twice a week to everyday is a big jump. I’m here to help you keep consistant.
I'm a beginner, where do I start?
By joining my programme! I will give you all the knowledge you need to practice by yourself in 3 months time. Then I highly urge you to find a teacher that you can continue your learning with.
I'm not flexible. Can I still practice?
Yes! Yoga isn’t about flexibility (though you might gain some along the way) but having a better relationship within yourself.
My days are super busy. How long will practice take?
The goal of this programme, is to find the best possible time of day and duration for you to practice in a way that really works for you. This can be from 10 minutes all the way to 45 minutes daily. But we’ll make it as easy as brushing your teeth!
I have an injury, can I join in?
Yes! Yoga is for everyone. We will find what works best for you and go from there. Even when injured, we can move our bodies and help the healing process. It’ll help your mind too 😛
Does the programme include meditation and mindfulness?
Yes! Meditation is at the heart of The Everyday Yogi. It’s such a vital part of the holistic practice of yoga. I’ll guide you through it.
Is the programme just yoga postures?
No, though it does form part of the foundation with meditation.
We will also look at how to do different postures and also different ideas around what it means to practice daily, plus some yoga philosophy.
